Description & Requirements

Help us deliver a better tomorrow

Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Systems team and play a key role in shaping the processes that underpin the employee experience at Australia Post. As our Systems Process Lead, you’ll partner with Product Owners, Centres of Expertise, and Enterprise Services to design and deliver process improvements that make a real difference.

You’ll lead business process design, ensure requirements are captured accurately, and drive change management to embed new solutions. Your work will help simplify processes, improve compliance, and enhance user experience across the organisation.

What you’ll deliver with us

As a trusted advisor and delivery partner, you’ll:

  • Lead process mapping, requirements scoping, and change management for key initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance obligations
  • Champion user-centred design and continuous improvement
  • Drive simplification and standardisation to reduce complexity and improve efficiency
  • Keep sponsors and stakeholders engaged throughout the project lifecycle

About you

You’re action oriented, delivery focused and thrive in collaborative environments. You know how to balance strategic priorities with practical solutions and have a knack for engaging stakeholders and guiding them through change.

You’ll also need:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and data governance
  • Experience in process design, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors
  • Skills in change management and user-centred design
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, business, or related fields (certifications in process improvement or project delivery are a bonus)

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Join one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse workforces in Australia, where we’re all ages, genders and come from all walks of life.
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
  • Immerse yourself in the AP Way – where every single team member partakes in a learning module to help understand the vital role we play in delivering on our strategy and purpose.
