We’re hiring a Cyber Security Compliance Advisor to join the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) function at Australia Post. In this pivotal role, you’ll review and interpret business and commercial customer cyber security requirements from a contractual perspective, and lead timely, high-quality responses to customer cyber security audit requests. You’ll engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to enable compliance against applicable Australia Post and external cyber security standards, translating obligations into practical controls and clear guidance that keeps our customers confident and our organisation compliant.

What you’ll deliver with us

  • Manage Customer Initiated Cyber Security Audits - respond to customer cyber security questionnaires in line with Australia Post's Cyber Security Policy and Standards. 
  • Review customer contracts from a Cyber Security perspective, for example contracts with our banking customers for Bank@Postservices or with our government customers for applicable services. Where required, propose necessary amendments to the Cyber Security Clauses, ensuring alignment with Australia Post's Cyber Security Policy and Standards.
  • Participate in business-initiated programs and projects as required to ensure cyber security compliance requirements are factored and met.
  • Review and address customer cyber security requirements across the product lines / services right from RFI/ tender process, customer onboarding and as part of regular due diligence.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc ISM (Information Security Manual) compliance consultation, advice and analysis, particularly in relation to contractual obligations with government customers. 
  • Risk Assess impact of any change within ISM Accredited Environment and drive control assessments with stakeholders. 
  • Undertake ad hoc internal compliance related assessments based on AP Cyber Security Standards and produce reporting against agreed metrics.

About You

You have strong experience in cyber security compliance across large, complex environments, with a solid understanding of customer security requirements, supplier obligations, and supporting bids and tenders. You bring hands on exposure to audit, governance and risk, particularly ISM Accreditation, Essential Eight and PSPF Framework and can translate complex technical information into clear, business friendly insights. Proactive communicator and Relationship builder, you work confidently with internal teams such as Group Risk, Group Compliance and Account Managers, as well as external stakeholders including IRAP Auditors, customer legal, procurement and cyber teams.
