About the opportunity  

This is a pivotal role within our My Health, Recovery and Injury Management team, supporting injured team members through meaningful, people first recovery journeys. As a Claims Partner, you’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering improved health outcomes and sustainable return to work solutions.


This is a 12 month Fixed Term Opportunity based in Redfern, Sydney NSW.


What you’ll deliver with us  

You’ll manage complex and strategically important workers compensation claims under, delivering timely, compliant decisions and exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Manager, Recovery & Health, you’ll work closely with Workplace Recovery, Operations, unions, medical and legal stakeholders to reduce risk, improve outcomes and support our people back to work safely and sustainably.


You’ll also   

  • Determine liability and manage complex claims end-to-end
  • Act as the first and escalation point of contact for injured team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to case conferences, impairment assessments
  • Collaborate across internal and external partners to drive sustainable return to work outcomes


About you  

You’re a confident, people first professional who brings empathy and resilience to complex situations. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate with influence, and balance care and compliance.


You’ll also need   

  • Proven experience managing workers’ compensation claims
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders including unions, HR, medical and allied health professionals
  • High level decision making, analytical and communication skills in sensitive and regulated environments
