Help businesses thrive in eCommerce as a Small Business Account Manager !

Following a promotion, we have a unique opportunity for a customer-focused professional in Sydney to join our dynamic Business Account Management team at Australia Post.

In this role, you’ll support eCommerce clients across New South Wales, helping their businesses grow and succeed. Based in our Cleveland Street office (3 days in the office minimum) and working with customers over the phone / Microsoft Teams, you’ll act as a trusted partner to business as they use Australia Post & Startrack to reach their customers and expand their impact.

With a wide range of B2B, B2C and international freight solutions at your fingertips, you’ll play an important part in helping Australian eCommerce businesses connect their products with the people who love them.

You’ll manage a portfolio of successful eCommerce businesses over the phone and via Microsoft Teams, nurturing relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to our continued success in Sydney.

What you’ll deliver with us

By delivering exceptional customer experiences and growing trusted relationships, you’ll help Australia Post and our customers succeed together. This role is part of our Small Business channel and whilst the majority of your interactions will be telephone based there will be opportunities to interact with customers in person or via web conferencing platforms 

 You’ll:

  • Manage existing accounts, identifying ways to create value and expand services.
  • Partner with business leaders to review performance and explore opportunities for growth.
  • Analyse your portfolio to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships through in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Develop new business, leveraging the strong momentum across the eCommerce sector.
  • Use AI technology in order to improve sales processes, serve customers better and to expand future opportunities.

 

About you

You’ll bring a genuine passion for helping customers succeed and an ability to build strong, authentic relationships. You may come from a sales, customer service or account management background, or perhaps you’ve worked in roles where understanding people and creating solutions have been key to your success.

You’ll be curious proactive, and open to learning. You’ll see challenges as opportunities and bring a positive, growth mindset to your work.
